Tasks in Teams
With Microsoft’s purchase of Wonderlist and the shutting down of the app in favor of its homegrown “To Do“ application, Microsoft will continue to integrate the To Do application into Teams. What new features can you expect? Well, users can now select custom views for lists, boards, charts, schedules, and tasks to get the job done! Managers also have tools to easily direct activities for their first line workers.

Mobile On-Demand Chat Translation
There are over 7000 languages in the world! While Microsoft can’t translate all of them, it can automate the translation of posts inside of channels and chats. With the click of a button, Microsoft Teams will now translate different languages inside of your Teams app on iOS in over 60 Languages!
Multi-Windows Meetings and Calls
Work is busy, busy, and more busy as of late due to the worldwide pandemic! With this new feature coming out in June, you will now be able to pop out your meetings and calls in two separate windows to optimize your office workflow. Need to answer a quick question via chat while on another call? No problem just pop out the current conversation and move it away from your chat window. While this might seem like a small change, the fewer clicks to get the job done, the better!
Better Channel Notification Settings
If you are new to channels, check out Microsoft’s article on it here. Channels allow you to divide up conversations in teams by subject and can even be hidden for select subgroups inside of your team. Why’d better channel notification? Well, after joining 20 or 30 or 50 teams you’ll notice that the notifications get out of control! Now, with this new feature release, team members will be able to control which channels they receive notifications about. My favorite part about this feature is the ability to turn off and on all channel activity, this is great for my daily quiet times!
Increase in Teams Meeting Attendee Limits!
We get it, you’re popular! And meetings of 100 or 200 people maximum just won’t cut it for you. Microsoft gets it too, Teams meetings will now have a maximum capacity of 350 members. This new Max capacity will allow for more widespread collaboration across your enterprise environment!
